Good afternoon ya’ll

Great start this early morning at 6:30 am (guest petition) Cornuda headed out searching for some mobulas that passed earlier in the morning (5:00am)
Starting from El Saltito it didn’t took long when Willy reported a big chunk of mobulas just in front of las Cruces, they spend about an hour and a half with them.

Guide reported that there where around 1000+ divide in groups but traveling all together, they stayed for a while on that area but after hot breakfast we went looking for them but they were gone.

Cornuda kept on heading south to Punta Gorda and on the way back they found the same group at las Cruces one again.

We also went to la Reina and la Renita, found some common dolphins and had a couple of jumps with them but they were not so cooperative so we kept on our way.

Conditions at the moment light breeze from the east 2knts calm seas, partially clouded Guests and crew doing good, only thing it’s too hot and no breeze even with chillers on,

Good afternoon, everyone!

Beautiful day out here today partially cloudy, low winds 6knts from the south and if temp of 34 as max,

Headed south from Punta Gorda to Punta Arena for mobulas, on the way we found a pod of spotted dolphins between 50 and 60 specimen. They were very calm and cooperative, we were able to jump two times with them but spend about an hour between the two jumps, guests came back super happy.

After the dolphins Cornuda headed to El Tacote reef to snorkel before lunch.

We have planned a night dive hoping some mobulas show up after nutrients gathered around the torches.

Super great day, very complete I will say, full of adrenaline and many things we were able to see due to today’s beautiful weather.

We went to Islotes, Partida, east side of Espiritu Santo and straight to la Reina where we saw and swam with a couple of giant mantas oceanic probably.

Then headed to la Renita for another snorkel and when Cornuda was about to come back for lunch they spotted what they thought there where dolphins but as they got closer the panda colors showed up and guests got ready to jump in.

It was luck to have them only for our guests after a few jumps they were ready to come back to lunch.

Weather conditions were super nice low breeze from southwest 6knts, partially cloudy 32c, water temp 24c

Guests super happy.

Today’s report:

After breakfast, the guests set sail from Bahía de las Cruces towards the diving site known as the Fang ming. On the way, when passing through San Gabriel Bay, they encountered cownose gay, which they could observe for a long time.

Once in the wreck, they did a dive. At the end of the activity, they continued sailing to Los Islotes, where they sighted sea lions.

Later, they headed north to explore and managed to find a school of about twenty Mobula modular

The tour continued along the east coast of Espíritu Santo Island, heading to La Bonanza. During navigation, they had the opportunity to spot a hammerhead shark, and later, a humpback whale, and finally a pod of common dolphin. The 3 encounters were observed with calm and amazement.

Finally, they returned to the boat for lunchtime.

In the afternoon, they went out again to explore. The first stop was in San Rafaelito to make a second sea lion sighting. From there, they sailed to Seagull Island, where they observed several birds: ducks, blue-legged pikers, frigates and pelicans.

Later, they went to the islet known as El Marito, where they could appreciate a colony of herons. At the end of the day, they returned to the boat to enjoy the sunset and the last dinner on board, in an atmosphere of farewell and gratitude for having been part of this experience on the Mangoween.

Conditions of the day:

Weather condition: Mostly clear sky, with some high clouds in the afternoon.       Air temperature: 30 °C during the day, falling to 26 °C at sunset.     Water temperature: 24 °C. Wind: Coming from the southeast, between 8 and 12 knots. General conditions: Calm sea with light swell in open sea, excellent visibility for sightings and water activities.

That’s how the day ended. Tomorrow morning the arrival of the guests will take place at the Marina
